Food was so good and spice is actually spicy! Every dish was really solid, but faves were the spicy chicken and crab tofu. The dessert was also really good! The restaurant itself was really nice and elegant inside, which is not what I expected. Great for groups or dates. Service was also fast and attentive, as servers were filling water consistently.

Food: pleasantly surprised by all the dishes we've ordered. The chilli oil they use is super aromatic and had a great kick. We ordered more Peking Duck wrappers tho coz it only came with 6 pieces. Service: friendly staff and recommended us a lot of dishes even though we were very indecisive on picking which dishes to try. They were very patient and walked us through each category in the menu of must try dishes. Ambience: really cozy and nice, not too crowded - well probably cozy we went at 9:30pm. Love it when the table is big enough for a party of 2 who orders a lot

An East Village staple serving up delicious Sichaun eats -- easily one of my favorites in the city. We were able to walk in for a later lunch on a weekday afternoon and get seated right away. The service was really great -- the waiter was on top of refilling everyone's water since it was so hot outside. Every single dish we got was delicious but my standouts have to be the Dry Pot and Dan Dan Noodles -- love that there were so many vegetarian options! The drinks here were also really great, highly recommend the Soy Milk with Mochi and Jelly. Their menu has a great variety, so I'll know I'll be back soon.

I came here cause this place showed up as one of the best to have Peking duck AND one of my fiancé's close friends said the crab tofu dish here is . So I ended up going with my fiance, said friend, and my soon to be parents in law. And I can say for sure that the Peking duck and crab tofu dishes were definitely the best dishes but all the other dishes were also incredible. We ordered the trotters, eggplant, and pickled fish stew. 1,000% would come back again!

If you like Szechuan mountain house, you'll like this place, although to the portions here are smaller and pricier. this place also has quite the variety, including a soup dish that's essentially pho broth as well as dim sum dishes and interesting desserts.

We were able to walk in around 6:30pm on a weekend evening and there were still empty tables (though it got a lot busier by the time we left). We mostly ordered non-spicy food: the dan dan noodles, crab tofu, fried duck, and steamed fish. Everything was good but none of the dishes particularly stood out. The steamed fish came with soft tofu at the bottom, which was good since it soaked up a lot of the sauce, but the fish itself needed a bit more descaling. Prices are definitely on the higher side since this is a more "modern" style Chinese restaurant. Overall this place is solid. If I did come back I'd probably order more of their spicy dishes.

Solid but only if you like spicy food. If you come for their non spicy food, it's pretty overpriced and not worth it. For example, came today with my in-laws who doesn't I eat spicy, and we only got string beans, egg plant, lobster, Peking duck, beef with cilantro (non spicy) and bill was $200 before tip. I really liked their boneless trotters and fish with pickled cabbage, Dan Dan noodles. Manager please bring back the sweet and sour pork!!

Honestly was shocked at how good it was. The first bite of the crab tofu was jaw dropping and it has a really yummy salted egg flavor too. The peking duck was super crispy and it came with beautifully thin wraps that have a nice texture. Value-wise, a bit on the expensive end but peking duck is usually quite pricey anyways. I personally was not a fan of the pork trotters because it was super spicy (not for those with low spice tolerance like me). I would definitely not recommend getting the fried rice that we ordered. I could barely taste any truffle and the egg was practically nonexistent. The pan fried bao's were okay... nothing too special (but maybe it's just because the other dishes were so AMAZING). Portions are not bad!

I have been to the bubble tea place before and my friend told me that they opened a restaurant so I wanted to try. I will be honest, we originally came in to just get drinks / dessert but the menu sounded good so we decided to order some mains to share along with dessert. The place itself is beautifully decorated with amazing seats - they have like "throne" style chairs and a spot light on the middle of the table which was great for photos. The staff was very friendly and service was very fast. We decided to get the following: -Brown sugar peking duck: This was very delicious, very crispy duck skin and the wrapping was so good. I will say that they did not give enough wrapping for the duck ratio. -Mini Pumpkin puff: We did get this because of how it looked - they were super cute and actually very tasty. It reminded me of a custard bun with a crispy outside rather than a bun. I do recommend this -Rose Lychee Panna Cotta: Would pass on this. Looked beautiful but the rose flavoring was too overpowering. It was also very firm not what we were expecting at all -Mango Juice Sago Palamo and Mochi: This was very yummy, if you have had the traditional HK dessert - this was it but mildly elevated. -Soy Milk with Ice Jelly and Mochi: I got this as a drink, it was alright nothing too special. Overall - would recommend stopping by for the actual food. The dessert was mid, but I would like to stop by for the food in the future!
